Dr. Layla Corral Lucas is an Arizona native, born and raised in Scottsdale. She received her medical and undergraduate degrees at the University of Arizona. She continued her training at the U of A and became double board-certified in General Surgery and Vascular/ Endovascular Surgery. Her vascular fellowship provided a particular emphasis on amputation prevention through their work with the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA). She is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, as well as other vascular, general, and regional organizations.
Dr. Lucas has a special interest in wound healing, limb salvage, stroke prevention and treatment of aneurysmal disease. She has been trained in a wide variety of minimally invasive endovascular techniques, as well as traditional open procedures in order to treat the full spectrum of vascular diseases.
