A native of Arizona, Dr. Elliott earned her Bachelor’s Degree in microbiology from Northern Arizona University. She earned her medical degree as well as a Post-Sophomore Fellowship in Pathology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. She continued her training in Grand Rapids, Michigan, completing a general surgery internship and residency with Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners at Spectrum Health and Mercy Health Hospitals.

Dr. Elliott is one of a select group of surgeons in the region certified in DaVinci Robotic Surgery, an advanced technique for minimally invasive procedures. She is also among one of the only doctors certified in LINX™ surgery, a new technology to treat reflux disease. She is qualified to perform all general surgery procedures, including abdominal, biliary, breast, and endocrine. While she enjoys all aspects of general surgery, Dr. Elliott has a special interest in complex hernia repair, robotic assisted surgery, and advanced laparoscopy, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Inguinal and ventral hernia repair
  • Anti-reflux procedures (Nissen, Toupet, Dor funduplication)
  • Hiatal and paraesophageal hernia repair
  • Splenectomy
  • Adrenalectomy
  • Colectomy
  • Dr. Elliott is board certified in General Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons and American Hernia Society.
